M.S. Psychology I
In 2011 I graduated from California State University, Long Beach with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. My eventual goal is to conduct evolutionary psychology research and teach at a university. As an undergraduate I did many things to improve my research skills: I tutored statistics, assisted with lab research, wrote a research proposal, and took science courses outside of my major, such as chemistry and biology.
Currently I am working on a meta-analysis of the heritability of liability to major depression. My research interests include surveillance cues and Dr. Andrews’ theory of depression as an adaptation.
